The standards and criteria for the certification program were identified through feedback from both customers and dealers. As part of the dealer certification process, six specific areas of customer impact were identified as the foundation of dealer evaluation including facilities, parts operations, sales operations, marketing and merchandising, service operations and human resources. Combined, these customer impact areas comprise 46 individual standards and requirements that a dealer must successfully complete to achieve certification status and be recognized as a Stellar Performer Certified Subaru Dealer by Subaru of America, Inc.
